Beauty & Skincare

Skincare and makeup brands would rather send you a week's worth of product than pay for an advert, so the freebies here are mostly sample sets and welcome minis. The catch is usually a new-customer rule, not a payment: if a form asks for card details, we leave it off this page.

Start with a welcome set from a brand you already buy from, then use the samples to test a serum or cleanser before committing to a full size. Each listing says what arrives, the skin type it suits and whether shipping is included.

Beauty & Skincare: your questions

The short answers, before you hand over an email address.

Are these samples full size?

Almost never. Expect sachets, 5–15ml minis or a set of three small products. A few brands send a full-size item as a birthday or welcome gift, and the listing says so when that is the case.

Do I need to pay shipping?

Most sample sets ship free. Some brands charge a small postage fee, which is always written in the offer's 'What you get' line so there are no surprises at checkout.

What if a sample irritates my skin?

Patch-test on your inner forearm and stop if it reacts. Samples are a good way to find out before you buy, and a reaction is a sign to skip that product rather than a reason to keep going.
